Sámi Blood is the winner of Titanic 2017
Amanda Kernell's striking debut, the Swedish-Norwegian-Danish co-production Sámi Blood is the winner of the Breaking Waves Award at the 24th Titanic International Film Festival.
Films in competition and guests at Titanic FilmFestival
Between 6th-13th April in Budapest the 24th Titanic International Film Festival will be held at three venues. This year there will be 7 films – a Filipino–Qatari and an American mystery thriller, an English–Hungarian–French mystery drama, a Swedish–Norwegian–Danish and a Spanish piece, a Luxembourg–Belgian–French and a Danish–Icelandic drama – in competition for the Breaking Waves Award.

Titanic Film Festival starts on April 6th
The 24th Titanic International Film Festival will be held from April 6-13, 2017. There will be a new additional venue this year: Pop-Up Cinema @ Ódry Színpad SZFE.
The awards of the 23rd Titanic Film Festival
The Breaking Waves Award was given to Canadian film director Philippe Lesage for his film The Demons (Les Démons). The Jury gave a Special Mention for French–Spanish–Belgian coproduction Evolution.
